Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 January 2026
Your privacy matters
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so. For example, to provide our services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. We collect information in three ways: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside sources.
Information you provide
- Account information: We ask for basic information from you in order to set up your account, which includes but is not limited to email addresses and full names.
- Profile information: The information you provide in your user page.
- Contributions: When you make an edit or contribution to our service, you are creating a permanent, public record of every piece of content added, removed, or altered by you. Public historical records will show when your contribution was made, as well as your username if you are signed in. Any of this information is visible on the internet and can be found by search engines. Public contributions are associated with the user that contributed them and this information will be visible on the site.
Information we collect automatically
Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, operating system, and in some cases, internet service provider and mobile network information. This data is used to provide a better experience for our users through determining ways to improve, administrate, and customise our site.
We collect information about what happens when you use our Services (e.g., page-views, searches, settings, interactions with content, and other parts of our Services) along with information about your device (e.g., screen size, name of cellular network, and mobile device manufacturer). We use this information to, for example, provide our Services to you, as well as get insights on how people use our Services, so we can make them better.
We actively collect some types of information with a variety of commonly-used technologies, which can include tracking pixels, JavaScript, our users' local storage, and cookies. Depending on which technology we use, locally stored data can be anything from text and pictures, to personal information (like your IP address) and information about your use of our sites (like your username or the time of your visit). We use cookies to personalize your experience and retain preferences that you set. Some cookies that are in use are essential for our sites to function, including those that allow us to keep our users logged in for a duration of time.
How we use information about you
We do not share personal information with companies, organisations, and indiduals outside of our Services unless one of the following circumstances applies:
